Shift Pattern: Average of 5 days per week (up to 6 days out of 7), Sunday to Saturday, averaging 48 hours per week over a rolling 26-week reference period.

Are you an experienced Class 1 HGV Driver looking to join a leading food manufacturing business? As a Class 1 Day Driver, you'll be an important ambassador for our business, ensuring our products reach their destination safely, efficiently, and on time.

\nWhat You'll Be Doing\n
\n

\n
• Safely operate Class 1 (C+E) vehicles to deliver food products in line with planned routes and schedules.
\n
• Ensure deliveries are completed accurately and on time, providing excellent customer service at every interaction.
\n
• Complete all transport and delivery documentation accurately, using digital systems and technology where required.
\n
• Carry out daily vehicle checks, reporting defects and ensuring vehicles remain roadworthy and compliant.
\n
• Comply with all relevant transport legislation, including Drivers' Hours, Working Time Directive (WTD), tachograph regulations, and vehicle load security requirements.
\n
• Support operational requirements by covering routes and adapting to changing business needs.
\n
• Maintain a professional appearance and represent the company positively at all times.
\n
• Champion health, safety, and food safety standards across all aspects of your role.
\n
• Work collaboratively with transport, warehouse, and production teams to ensure smooth operations.
\n

\nWhat We're Looking For\n
\nEssential Requirements\n
\n

\n
• Valid Category C+E (Class 1) Driving Licence.
\n
• Minimum of 2 years' experience driving Class 1 vehicles within the last 3 years.
\n
• Current Driver CPC qualification.
\n
• Good working knowledge of tachograph and driver hours legislation.
\n
• Strong commitment to safety, compliance, and customer service.
\n
