Senior Legal Counsel

We are seeking an experienced commercial lawyer with 6+ years' PQE to join a dynamic media and content business. This role is ideal for a commercially minded legal professional with strong experience advising on talent, creator and influencer agreements, alongside commercial, IP, advertising, distribution and technology matters.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the negotiation and drafting of talent, creator, influencer and agency agreements.
\n
• Advise on content rights, intellectual property, licensing, sponsorship, advertising and distribution arrangements.
\n
• Draft and negotiate a range of commercial contracts, including technology, supplier, marketing and consumer-facing agreements.
\n
• Provide practical legal advice on regulatory, consumer protection and commercial risk issues.
\n
• Support strategic projects, transactions and legal due diligence.
\n
• Develop legal templates and processes, and promote the effective use of legal technology and AI tools.
\n

Experience & Skills

\n
• Qualified solicitor with 6+ years' PQE gained in private practice and/or in-house.
\n
• Proven experience negotiating talent, creator or influencer agreements is essential, ideally within the media, entertainment, sports or digital content sectors.
\n
• Strong commercial contracting, drafting and stakeholder management skills.
\n
• Commercially minded, solutions-focused and able to manage complex matters independently.
\n
