The Role

  • Take ownership of billing automation pipelines and ensure they continue running effectively
  • \n
  • Complete in-flight data modelling projects and contribute to new model development
  • \n
  • Build and maintain dbt models, including fact and dimension tables and metric layers
  • \n
  • Collaborate closely with data engineering to support the end-to-end data platform
  • \n
  • Review SQL and dbt work from analysts, supporting best practices and consistency
  • \n
  • Contribute to improving data quality, structure, and governance across the platform
  • \n

Your Skills & Experience

\n
    \n
  • Strong commercial experience with dbt, including building and maintaining data models
  • \n
  • Advanced SQL skills and working knowledge of Python in a modern data environment
  • \n
  • Experience working with cloud-based data platforms such as a lakehouse architecture
  • \n
  • Understanding of data modelling principles, including star schemas and data transformation
  • \n
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-moving and evolving environment
  • \n
  • Comfortable collaborating across teams and reviewing or guiding others’ work
  • \n
  • Exposure to Databricks is beneficial but not essen
  • \n
  • Experience in regulated environments or data-sensitive industries is advantageous
  • \n
