About the Company

A well-established aerospace manufacturing company based in Nuneaton is currently seeking an experienced CNC Miller Setter Operator to join their growing production team. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a precision engineering environment producing high-quality aerospace components to tight tolerances.

The Role

As a CNC Miller Setter Operator, you will be responsible for setting and operating CNC milling machines to manufacture precision aerospace components in line with engineering drawings and customer specifications.

Responsibilities include:

• Setting and operating CNC milling machines
\n
• Working from engineering drawings and specifications
\n
• Producing precision aerospace components to tight tolerances
\n
• Carrying out basic editing and offsets where required
\n
• Using measuring equipment including verniers, micrometers and gauges
\n
• Conducting first-off and in-process inspection checks
\n
• Maintaining high quality and housekeeping standards
\n
• Working efficiently to production targets and deadlines
\n

About You

\n
• Previous experience as a CNC Miller Setter Operator
\n
• Experience within aerospace or precision engineering environments preferred
\n
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
\n
• Experience using measuring equipment
\n
• Knowledge of Fanuc or similar controls advantageous
\n
• Strong attention to detail and quality-focused mindset
\n
• Reliable with a good attitude towards teamwork and production
\n
