Role DescriptionThis is a full-time , on-site role. Youll join a strong, collaborative team in a modern,well-maintained facility, producing high-precision components for the Aerospace sector. Thework involves small to medium batch production with medium to high complexity. Your mainresponsibility will be setting, and operating CNC grinding machines (Studer) ensure machiningprocesses are optimised for accuracy, efficiency, and repeatability.\n
CNC Grinder - Key responsibilities\n

\n
• Set, operate, and manage CNC grinding equipment (Studer)
\n
• Monitor machining processes and make adjustments as required
\n
• Perform in-process quality checks to tight aerospace tolerances
\n
• Interpret engineering drawings with precision
\n
• Maintain safe working practices and adhere to production standards
\n
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure consistent, high-quality output
\n
• Support basic machine maintenance and care
\n

CNC Grinder - Experience and skills required\n

\n
• Experience setting and operating Studer CNC Grinders and manual machines
\n
• Have some understanding of mathematical concepts required (e.g. trigonometry)
\n
• Experience of working in a manufacturing environment
\n
• Commercial awareness and professionalism
\n
• A good standard of general education with basic computer and numerical skills
\n
• Astute attention to detail with steady hand-eye coordination
\n
• Good organisational skills, methodical and accurate
\n
• Good communications skills (written & verbal)
\n
• Ability to work to tight tolerances without supervision
\n
• Ability to work under pressure and problem-solve
\n
• Demonstrate integrity in all aspects of the role
\n
• A flexible approach to the role to meet changing business demands which may include overtimeattendance to suit the production plans and priorities.

• Ability to work on own initiative but willing to work as a team to achieve objectives of division.
