Insurance Renewals Account Executive

Account Executive – Renewals Location: Milton Keynes Working: Flexible / Hybrid Salary: Circa £45K per annum + annual renewal bonus We are working with a forward-thinking, independent insurance brokerage in Milton Keynes who are experiencing continued growth and are now looking to appoint an experienced Renewals Account Executive. This is an excellent opportunity to join an ambitious and collaborative team where you will manage your own book of commercial/SME clients and play a key role in delivering a high-quality renewal service. You’ll have genuine autonomy within your role, access to experienced colleagues and excellent opportunities for career development, including support towards CII qualifications. Key Responsibilities * Manage your own portfolio of commercial insurance clients * Handle the full renewal process from review through to placement * Assess changes in risk and recommend appropriate cover * Negotiate terms and premiums with insurers * Provide professional advice on policy covers and conditions * Develop strong, long-term client and insurer relationships * Identify cross-sell and up-sell opportunities * Maintain accurate records and deliver excellent customer service * Keep up to date with commercial insurance products and market developments You’ll ideally have: * Experience managing and retaining an existing book of business, particularly renewals * Strong knowledge of commercial/SME insurance * Excellent communication and relationship-building skills * A professional, client-focused approach * Strong negotiation and influencing abilities * CII qualification or a willingness to work towards one Benefits include annual bonus linked to renewal performance, flexible working, 25 days’ holiday (+ bank holidays), additional Christmas leave, income protection and life assurance, enhanced family-friendly leave, wellbeing support, cycle to work scheme, cycle to work scheme, employee referral bonus and support towards CII qualifications.
