Mechanical Engineer Location: West LondonSalary: £48,000Hours: Monday to Friday (Rotating Shifts: 8:00am5:00pm & 10:00am7:00pm)The Opportunity We are currently seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join a professional on-site engineering team at a prestigious commercial property in West London.This is a static-site position offering excellent stability, a collaborative team environment, and the opportunity to work within a modern, high-profile building. You will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of all mechanical building services.Key Responsibilities Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance tasksMaintain and fault-find on mechanical plant and equipment including AHUs, FCUs, pumps, motors, valves, and associated HVAC systemsConduct plant room inspections and ensure all equipment is operating efficientlyRespond to breakdowns and complete repairs in a timely mannerSupport compliance activities and ensure all maintenance records are accurately completedLiaise with subcontractors and specialist service providers when requiredWork closely with the wider engineering team to deliver a first-class maintenance serviceAbout You Qualified in a mechanical discipline (City & Guilds, NVQ, Apprenticeship or equivalent)Experience working within commercial building maintenance environmentsStrong knowledge of HVAC and mechanical building services systemsExcellent fault-finding and problem-solving skillsProfessional and client-focused approachAble to work effectively as part of a teamWhat's on Offer Salary of £48,000Monday to Friday working patternRotating shifts: 8am5pm and 10am7pmStatic-site roleSupportive engineering teamOngoing training and development opportunitiesOpportunity to work within a prestigious commercial environmentTPBN1_UKTJ
