Audio Visual Technician

This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology and contribute to the success of various corporate and event settings.ResponsibilitiesInstall, configure, and maintain audio-visual equipment including projectors, microphones, speakers, video conferencing systems, and control systems.Troubleshoot technical issues swiftly to minimize downtime during live events or meetings.Conduct routine inspections of AV equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety standards.Collaborate with clients and event coordinators to understand specific audiovisual requirements and deliver tailored solutions.Perform network installation tasks related to AV systems, including Ethernet connections, switches, routers, and telecommunication setups such as VoIP systems.Repair or replace faulty hardware components using hand tools and electrical experience when necessary.Read schematics and technical diagrams for proper setup and troubleshooting of complex AV systems involving CCTV, Cisco routers, Juniper devices, Avaya communication systems, and other networking hardware.ExperienceProven experience in AV equipment installation, maintenance, and repair in a professional setting.Strong background in computer networking including Ethernet cabling, network configuration, and integration with AV systems.Familiarity with telecommunication systems such as VoIP and Avaya or similar platforms.Knowledge of CCTV surveillance systems and security protocols is highly desirable.Hands-on experience with electrical wiring, schematics interpretation, and electrical safety standards.Ability to use hand tools effectively for equipment repair or installation tasks.Prior experience working with Cisco routers, Juniper devices, or other networking hardware is a plus.Join us to be part of a vibrant team dedicated to delivering exceptional audiovisual experiences!
