Class 2 Delivery Driver

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Class 2 Delivery Driver to join a busy distribution operation based in Brighouse.The role involves multi-drop deliveries to customers across the designated area, delivering beer kegs, cases, bottles and other products. You may be supported by a Drivers Mate on larger deliveries.Duties include:Driving a Class 2 vehicle safely and responsiblyCompleting multi-drop deliveries on scheduled routesLoading and unloading goods, including beer kegs and casesCollecting empty kegs, packaging and returnable itemsCompleting delivery paperwork and obtaining proof of deliveryCarrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting defectsProviding excellent customer service at each deliveryComplying with drivers' hours, tachograph and health & safety regulationsThe ideal candidate will have:Valid Category C (Class 2) licenceValid Driver CPCValid Digital Tachograph CardPrevious multi-drop delivery or logistics experienceGood customer service and communication skillsExperience with manual handlingReliable, professional and punctual approachGood geographical knowledgeExperience delivering drinks, kegs, FMCG or wholesale products would be advantageous.This is a physically demanding role involving regular manual handling, so applicants must be comfortable with loading and unloading goods.If you have the required Class 2 licence and delivery experience and are looking for ongoing work, apply today!Skills RequiredDriving class 2 vehicles essentialQualifications RequiredClass 2 driving licenceKeywordsdriving, class 2, hgv2, delivery driver, type cTPBN1_UKTJ
