Delta Reach Contracts Manager | Oldham, Greater Manchester | Full Time | £40,000–£45,000 per annumAre you an experienced manager who enjoys leading a team, taking ownership and building strong working relationships with both clients and employees?Our client is an established specialist provider in the construction and engineering sector, operating from Oldham and serving a diverse range of project needs within the industry. They are part of a group of niche companies focused on delivering technical services such as working at height solutions, height safety compliance and maintenance.The RoleAs Contracts Manager, you will take responsibility for the day-to-day management of the Delta Reach department, ensuring contracts are delivered safely, efficiently and profitably while maintaining the high standards clients expect.You will work closely with the Group Operations Director to develop the department, improve systems and processes, and support the continued growth of the business. The role will involve UK-wide travel as required.Key ResponsibilitiesManage the day-to-day operations of the Delta Reach departmentPlan and coordinate labour, plant, equipment and other resourcesManage contracts from order through to completionBuild and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as a key point of contactProduce, review and approve RAMS and job documentationLead health and safety and ensure compliance across the departmentManage, support and develop office and site personnelCarry out appraisals, investigations and recruitment where requiredManage training requirements and staff competenciesMonitor departmental performance, profitability, invoicing and KPIsWork with the Group Operations Director to develop and improve the departmentSupport business development and maintain existing client relationshipsRequirementsEssentialMinimum of 5 years' previous managerial experience.Experience managing teams within construction or a related industryExcellent communication and organisational skillsStrong leadership and decision-making abilityConfident using Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word and ExcelAbility to learn and use computer-based planning and management systemsGood commercial awareness and experience managing budgets or contract performanceExperience planning labour and resourcesAdaptable and able to respond positively to changing priorities in a fast-paced environmentFull UK driving licenceDesirableSMSTS qualificationExperience within height safety, rope access, working at height or specialist accessIOSH or NEBOSH qualificationExperience producing or reviewing RAMSKnowledge of construction health and safety legislationWhat's In It For You£40,000–£45,000 per annum, depending on experienceCompany vehicle21 days' annual leave plus bank holidaysCompany pension schemeOngoing training and professional developmentSupport with relevant industry qualifications and continued professional developmentOpportunity to play a key role in the continued development and growth of Delta ReachThe opportunity to lead and develop a growing specialist department with an established reputation across the UKWork alongside an experienced senior management team with the opportunity to shape the future of Delta ReachWhat's next?
