Driver Require are recruiting reliable and professional HGV Class 1 Drivers for ongoing full time work with one of our prestigious clients based in Stanford-Le-Hope completing deliveries from the DC to various store locations. We have options for DAY or NIGHT drivers:

DAYS = STORE DELIVERY

OR

NIGHTS = TRUNKING

HGV Class 1 Driver pay rates (PAYE & Including Holiday Pay)

• Days: £21.00 ph
\n
• Nights: £22.18 ph
\n
• Saturdays: £23.36 ph
\n
• Sundays: £24.53 ph
\n

UMBRELLA (DAYS £23.31ph, NIGHTS £24.62ph, SAT £25.92ph, SUN £27.23ph)

HGV Class 1 Driver role details:

• 7 Day operation
\n
• DAYS OR Nights available
\n
• Delivery of white goods - some palletised but majority is white goods
\n
• Tail lift deliveries
\n
• NIGHTS: Trunking
\n
• DAYS: store work, some CSC deliveries as well (curtain trailers)
\n
• Mixture of start times - days 5am - 7am and nights 16.00 - 20.00
\n
• Assessment / Induction Required. - if passed a rota pattern of 5 on 3 off for continuous ongoing work, we can also look at other requests
\n

Candidate requirements:

\n
• Valid HGV Class 1 licence with no more than 6 points on license (no major endorsements)
\n
• Minimum 1 year experience driving HGV Class 1
\n
• Flexible availability to meet shift requirements
\n
• Good knowledge of Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations
\n
• Must pass an assessment following with an induction
