Ventilation Maintenance Engineer Location: Sheffield & Surrounding Areas Salary: Circa £40,000 basic + travel pay Benefits: Company vehicle, fuel card & personal use allowance Job Type: Full-time, Mobile The Role We are looking for an experienced Ventilation Maintenance Engineer to join our growing engineering team, working on commercial contracts across Sheffield and the surrounding areas. This is a mobile role, carrying out planned and reactive maintenance, servicing and general engineering duties across a range of commercial sites. You will be responsible for ensuring ventilation and commercial air-conditioning systems are maintained safely, efficiently and to a high standard. Key Responsibilities * Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on commercial sites. * Service and maintain commercial ventilation and air-conditioning systems. * Diagnose faults and complete repairs efficiently. * Undertake general maintenance duties associated with commercial HVAC/ventilation systems. * Complete maintenance records, service reports and relevant documentation. * Work professionally and safely while representing the company on customer sites. * Liaise with customers and site representatives to provide excellent service. * Ensure all work is completed in accordance with relevant health & safety requirements. * Travel throughout Sheffield and surrounding areas as required. About You The successful candidate will ideally have: * Previous experience in commercial ventilation, air-conditioning, HVAC or building services maintenance. * Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills. * Good practical and technical knowledge of commercial systems. * The ability to work independently while managing a mobile workload. * A professional approach and good customer service skills. * A full UK driving licence. * Relevant qualifications within HVAC, ventilation, mechanical engineering or a related discipline would be advantageous.
