Job Title: Senior Agricultural Accounts Manager Location: Exeter (Hybrid) Salary: Competitive (DOE) Overview: We are working with a highly reputable and long-established accountancy practice in the South West that is looking to appoint a Senior Agricultural Accounts Manager. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional to join a specialist team, managing a diverse portfolio of rural and agricultural clients while playing a key role in the firm’s continued growth. The Role: Managing a portfolio of agricultural and rural clients, providing a full range of accounting and advisory services Reviewing and preparing year-end accounts, as well as associated tax returns Overseeing VAT return preparation and ensuring compliance Acting as a key point of contact for clients, handling day-to-day queries and providing strategic advice Supporting business development activities and promoting additional services Managing workflows, deadlines, and billing across the portfolio Working closely with senior leadership on client matters and projects Leading, mentoring, and developing junior team members Requirements: ACA or ACCA qualified Strong background within an accountancy practice Proven experience working with agricultural or rural clients, including relevant tax knowledge Excellent communication and relationship-building skills Demonstrated ability to manage client portfolios effectively Commercial awareness and an interest in business development Leadership experience, with the ability to motivate and support a team Benefits: Competitive salary (DOE) Hybrid working options Clear progression pathway within a specialist area Supportive and collaborative team environment Opportunity to work with a well-established and growing client base If this sounds like a great opportunity then please click Apply today.
