HGV Class 1 TipperDriver (C+E)Location: Tees Dock Road, MiddlesbroughSalary: £16.88 per hourContract: Fixed Term Contract minimum 5 MonthsHours: Up to40hours per week, Days and NightsPertemps are recruiting on behalf of Northumbrian Water for an experienced HGV Class 1 (C+E) Tipper Driver based at Tees Dock Road, Middlesbrough.This is an excellent opportunity to join one of the region's leading utility companies, playing a key role in supporting wastewater operations across the North East.The RoleAs an HGV C+E Tanker Driver, you will be responsible for transporting sludge products from Northumbrian Water's sewage treatment works across the North East to treatment facilities.Key responsibilities include:Operating HGV Class 1 vehicles safely and efficientlyEnsuring compliance with Driver Hours Regulations, Working Time Directive and O-Licence requirementsCarrying out daily vehicle inspections and defect reporting in line with DVSA standardsMaintaining a clean, safe and compliant vehicle at all timesSafely loading and unloading tanker equipment in accordance with Northumbrian Water Health & Safety proceduresPromoting and supporting the "Everyone Home Safe Everyday" cultureDriving in a fuel-efficient and environmentally responsible mannerDelivering excellent service whilst representing Northumbrian Water professionallyWhat We're Looking For:Full HGV Class 1 (C+E) LicenceMinimum 12 months' Class 1 driving experienceValid Driver CPC qualificationValid Digital Tachograph CardGood understanding of EU Drivers' Hours Regulations and Working Time DirectiveStrong commitment to health, safety and complianceImportant InformationThisrole has been designated as a safety and security critical position.
