Care / Childcare Solicitor Children Law Location: Rhondda Cynon Taff / South WalesPQE: Ideally 3+ yearsThe Opportunity Paradigm Employment Services is recruiting an experienced Care / Childcare Solicitor to join the expanding Care & Private Children Law team of an established and highly regarded South Wales law firm.This is an excellent opportunity for a Solicitor with experience in public and/or private children law who is looking to join a supportive, progressive practice offering high-quality work, career development and the opportunity to become part of a growing regional team.The appointment comes as part of the firm's continued expansion across South Wales, including the development of its new Rhondda office, alongside an established presence across the wider region.The Role You will manage a varied caseload of care proceedings and related children law matters, providing high-quality legal advice and representation to clients throughout often complex and sensitive circumstances.Depending on your experience, your work may include:Care proceedings and public children law mattersPrivate children proceedingsChild arrangements and related applicationsAdvising and representing parents and other family membersAdvocacy and court representationPreparing cases, applications and supporting documentationLiaising with clients, counsel, local authorities and other professionalsManaging your own caseload effectively and meeting relevant deadlinesMaintaining excellent standards of client care, compliance and confidentialityWorking collaboratively with colleagues across the wider Care and Children Law teamAbout You We would particularly like to hear from Solicitors who can demonstrate:Ideally 3+ years' PQE, although relevant experience will be consideredExperience within Care, Childcare, Public Children and/or Private Children LawExperience dealing with care proceedingsStrong advocacy and client representation skillsExcellent written and verbal communicationThe ability to manage a busy and varied caseloadA sensitive and empathetic approach when supporting clientsStrong organisation and attention to detailA collaborative, team-focused approachA genuine commitment to achieving the best possible outcomes for children and familiesA full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle will be required due to the nature of the role and occasional travel between offices.What's on Offer?
