Are you a Plant Fitter, Agricultural Engineer or Mechanical Fitter looking for a hands-on role offering excellent hourly rates, funded training, and a Monday-to-Friday working week?

Do you have experience working on plant or agricultural machinery, with a strong mechanical background and ideally some experience with hydraulics, welding, fabrication, crushers, or screeners?

This well-established engineering company specialises in the service, maintenance, repair, and examination of plant and agricultural machinery. Due to continued growth, they are looking to add a skilled Plant & Agricultural Fitter to their team.

In this role, you will carry out fault finding, diagnostics, servicing, repairs, and preventative maintenance across a range of plant and agricultural machinery. The position will also offer opportunities to complete additional training, such as LOLER examinations and a 7.5-tonne licence.

This role would suit a Plant Fitter, Agricultural Engineer or Mechanical Fitter looking for a Monday-to-Friday position with no weekend work, alongside funded training, career development and regular company socials including events at Snetterton Race Track.

The Role:

• Service, maintain, and repair plant and agricultural machinery
\n
• Diagnose mechanical and hydraulic faults
\n
• Carry out routine inspections and preventative maintenance
\n
• Work on crushers, screeners, and associated machinery
\n
• Carry out welding and fabrication repairs where required
\n
• Replace and repair hydraulic hoses
\n
• Carry out LOLER and thorough examinations
\n
• Use power tools and workshop equipment
\n
• Maintain a safe and organised working environment
\n

The Person:

\n
• Plant Fitter, Agricultural Engineer, Mechanical Fitter, or similar background
\n
• Strong mechanical fitting and fault-finding experience
\n
• Full UK Driving Licence essential
\n
