Key Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Valid state certification or licensure as a School Psychologist or Counselor
• Master’s degree or higher in School Psychology, Counseling, or a related field
• Experience conducting assessments, providing direct counseling services, and collaborating in an educational setting
• Strong understanding of Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS), Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and Response to Intervention (RTI)
• Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with educators, staff, students, and families

Primary Responsibilities:

• Perform student assessments to determine social, emotional, and behavioral needs
• Offer individual and group counseling services, promoting healthy coping strategies and academic achievement
• Develop and implement behavioral intervention plans and support services
• Consult with teachers and administrators to identify student needs and recommend effective interventions
• Participate in the development and review of IEPs and contribute to multidisciplinary team meetings
• Engage with parents and caregivers, providing updates and resources to ensure student well-being
• Maintain thorough, confidential records and ensure compliance with district and state guidelines
