Position SummaryWe are looking for an OB/GYN Physician to join our expanding Women's Health team. This role is focused exclusively on outpatient women's healthcare within a collaborative, patient-centered environment. The physician will deliver preventive, gynecologic, reproductive, and outpatient obstetrical care, working closely with Women's Health providers, primary care teams, nursing staff, and clinical leadership.
This position allows for the development of long-term patient relationships while ensuring a balanced work-life dynamic, free from the demands of deliveries, surgeries, and inpatient responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive outpatient women's healthcare, including well-woman exams, acute visits, reproductive care, and family planning services.
- Deliver evidence-based outpatient obstetrical care to low- and moderate-risk patients.
- Diagnose and manage common gynecologic and reproductive health issues.
- Offer contraception counseling and perform LARC insertion and removal.
- Conduct colposcopies, biopsies, and other relevant in-office gynecologic procedures.
- Provide care for perimenopausal and menopausal patients.
- Order, review, and interpret laboratory, imaging, and diagnostic tests.
- Make appropriate referrals for specialty services and follow-up care.
- Collaborate with Women's Health providers, primary care teams, nursing staff, and clinical leadership.
- Maintain accurate and timely electronic health record documentation.
- Complete billing and clinical tasks in line with organizational standards.
- Engage in peer review, quality improvement initiatives, and accreditation readiness activities.
- Provide clinical guidance and support to nursing staff and medical assistants.
- Practice at multiple outpatient locations as operationally necessary.
- Adhere to HIPAA, federal, state, accreditation, HRSA, and organizational requirements.
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from an accredited institution.
- Completion of an accredited OB/GYN residency program.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
- Active or eligible Florida medical license.
- Active or eligible DEA registration.
- Current Basic Life Support certification.
- Preferred outpatient OB/GYN experience.
- Familiarity with Epic or other electronic health record systems is a plus.
- Bilingual skills in English and Spanish are strongly preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong clinical judgment, communication, collaboration, and patient education skills.
