Family Solicitor

We are seeking a confident and experienced Family Solicitor to manage a varied private family law caseload independently. The successful candidate will work as part of the wider family team. As a Family Solicitor, you will be responsible for: * Managing divorce, separation, financial remedy and private children matters * Advising on cohabitation disputes, pre-nuptial and post-nuptial agreements, separation agreements and protective injunctions * Handling TOLATA matters where appropriate, with TOLATA experience being ideal * Supervising and developing junior staff * Supporting the wider family team * Attending networking events and assisting with business development * Contributing to the continued growth of the Doncaster office and the wider firm The ideal candidate: * Ideally 8+ years’ PQE in family law, although strong candidates with relevant experience will be considered * Experience in both children and financial remedy matters * TOLATA experience is ideal * Ability to manage a busy caseload with minimal supervision * Excellent client care, drafting and communication skills * Strong commercial awareness and a good billing record * Experience or willingness to supervise and develop junior colleagues * Willingness to network and assist with business development * Ambition to grow within the firm * Confidence using case management systems and Microsoft Office * A professional, organised and team-focused approach.
