Journeyman Plumber

OverviewThe Journeyman Plumber’s key accountability is to manage the scope of work on a given project, and report regularly to the Operations Leader. Key responsibilities include managing a project on a day-to-day basis and ensuring projects stay on schedule and on budget.\n

\n*Primary Duties and Responsibilities:*\n
\n
\n* Coordinate schedule/needs/materials with Operations Leader.\n
\n* Recognize delays/issues and communicate with Operations Leader.\n
\n* On-the-job training of Apprentice.\n
\n* Follow a set of plans, making sure to have the correct set of plans.\n
\n* Keep the job site clean and organized.\n
\n* Layout and rough-in on the job from start to finish.\n
\n* Maintain a safe work environment.\n
\n* Responsible for maintenance, organization, and cleanliness of vehicles.\n
\n* Responsible Quality Control of all aspects of the installation.\n
\n* Follow contracted scope of work.\n
\n* Complete projects on time and within budget.\n
\n
\n*Minimum Qualifications:*\n
\n
\n* Wyoming Journeyman's License, Idaho License a Plus.\n
\n* Boiler experience a plus.\n
\n* (Required) Driver's License with clean driving record.\n
\n* High school diploma or equivalent work experience.\n
\n
\n*Required Knowledge of:*\n
\n
\n* Understanding of and Ability to Plumb to IPC Plumbing Code.\n
\n* Ability to use a wide variety of plumbing tools and techniques.\n
\n* Interpreting applying building plans to spec.\n
\n* Maintain and Establish cooperative working relationships with coworkers and other subcontractors.\n
\n* Effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.\n
\n* Knowledge of Hydronic systems and installation is a plus.\n
\n
\n*Physical Demands/Work Environment:*\n
\n
\n* Ability to lift 75+ lbs.\n
\n* Ability to climb ladders and/or scaffolding.\n
\n* Kneel, Stoop, Crouch, or Crawl for long periods of time.\n
\n* Fine motor skills.\n
\n* Work with different types of plumbing chemicals.\n
\n
