\n We are seeking an experienced CNG Bus Technician to perform diagnostics, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair on compressed natural gas transit buses and related vehicle systems. This role is ideal for a hands-on technician with strong mechanical, electrical, and diagnostic skills, especially within transit, fleet, heavy-duty, bus, or commercial vehicle environments. The CNG Bus Technician will support daily service needs, repairs, inspections, and troubleshooting to help keep vehicles safe, reliable, and road-ready.\n

\n The ideal candidate will possess 2+ years of experience in either electrical, HVAC or other related field and have experience with any of the following: buses, trains, automobiles, military vehicles, heavy equipment, or aircraft.\n

\n
\n Responsibilities:\n
\n
    \n
  • Perform maintenance, diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repair on CNG transit buses and related fleet vehicles.
    • \n
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, fuel, cooling, braking, steering, suspension, HVAC, and drivetrain systems.
    • \n
  • Inspect, troubleshoot, and service CNG fuel system components, including tanks, lines, valves, regulators, fuel rails, pressure sensors, and related safety systems.
    • \n
  • Use diagnostic tools, scan tools, wiring diagrams, technical manuals, and service information to identify and correct issues.
    • \n

\n Qualifications:\n
\n
    \n
  • 2+ years of experience as a bus, transit, fleet, diesel, heavy-duty, automotive, or commercial vehicle technician.
    • \n
  • Experience working on CNG vehicles strongly preferred.
    • \n
  • Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
    • \n
  • Ability to diagnose and repair vehicle systems using diagnostic software, scan tools, meters, and standard shop equipment.
    • \n
  • Knowledge of engines, fuel systems, air brakes, electrical systems, HVAC, suspension, steering, and vehicle control systems.
    • \n
  • Ability to read wiring diagrams, schematics, service manuals, and technical repair procedures.
    • \n
  • A CDL is preferred
    • \n
\n
\n Job Types: Full-time, Contract\n
\n Pay Rate: $35.00 and up (Pay is commensurate with skills and experience)\n
