The Systems Group is looking for an energetic individual to be our next Pipefitting teammate. We are looking for someone who can read blueprints, lay out various sizes for pipe, fit Tees, 90s, 45s, and offsets to print while figuring out proper take outs. We are also looking for someone who wants to be part of the big picture and contribute to the long-term strategy of our operations across the country. Pipefitter Job Responsibilities:
\n
\n - Selects the type and size of pipe and related materials and equipment, such as supports, hangers, and hydraulic cylinders, according to job specifications.
\n - Inspects the worksite to determine the presence of obstructions.
\n - Plans sequence on installation to avoid obstructions and activities of other workers.
\n - Cuts pipe using a reciprocating saw, pipe cutter, cutting torch and pipe cutting machine, and/or other small hand tools.
\n - Thread pipe using a threading machine.
\n - Bends pipe by hand or with pipe-bending tools and machines.
\n - Mounts pipe hangers and brackets on walls and ceiling to hold the pipe.
\n - Assembles and installs a variety of metal or nonmetal pipes and pipe fittings.
\n - Secures pipes to structure with brackets, clamps, and hangers, using hand and power tools.
\n - Performs minor maintenance of cleaning activities of tools and equipment.
\n - Observe and comply with all safety and project rules and all company policies and procedures
\n - Performs other duties as required.

Pipefitter Qualifications / Skills:
\n
\n - Always attentive to detail and alert to ensure safety
\n - Ability to receive and follow instructions and communicate with co-workers
\n - Ability to read labels, safety warnings, and guidelines
\n - Ability to calculate take-outs
\n
\n
Experience and Requirements:
\n
\n - Pipefitting in an industrial setting is preferred
\n - OSHA Approved Met-Guard boots (annual company allowance provided)
\n - Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen
\n
