Job Overview and Qualifications

The Progressive Care Registered Nurse is responsible for coordinating and delivering exceptional, patient-focused care. Working in partnership with healthcare providers, the RN offers both pre-operative and post-operative nursing support. This role also involves advocating for patients to ensure an outstanding healthcare experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate patient conditions upon admission and throughout each shift, promptly identifying and reporting any changes in their status.
  • Carry out procedures or tasks as directed by the healthcare provider.
  • Accurately document care provided in the patient's medical records in a timely manner.
  • Administer prescribed medications and monitor patient responses.
  • Stay informed about medications, procedures, and equipment relevant to the care of cardiac and medical-surgical patients.

Required Qualifications:


  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification must be obtained within 30 days of starting employment.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification must be obtained within 30 days of starting employment.
  • Registered Nurse (RN) license.
  • Associate Degree in nursing.
