Neonatology

Our organization is on the lookout for a Board Certified or Board Eligible Neonatologist to enhance our growing Neonatology program at a prominent medical center in Hartford, Connecticut.

This full-time position allows you to collaborate with a well-established team comprising four Neonatologists, along with a complete roster of physician assistants and APRNs. You will apply your extensive clinical skills in a 28-bed, Level 3 NICU, as well as in our Level I and II satellite nurseries throughout the area. The team shares responsibilities to guarantee continuous 24/7 coverage for the NICU, hospitalist services for the newborn nursery, and support for complex deliveries and cesarean sections.

As part of an academic affiliate hospital, you will have numerous opportunities to educate medical students from the University of Connecticut School of Medicine and the Frank H. Netter MD School of Medicine at Quinnipiac University. Additionally, our NICU serves as a training ground for residents from various programs, including OB/GYN, Emergency Medicine, and Family Medicine, as well as students from Capital Community College's Paramedics and St. Joseph's University Physician Assistant programs.
