\nShift Details: Full-time (36 Hours), Weekend Shift, Friday - Sunday 5am-5:30pm

\nAs a Radiology Technologist at Intermountain Health, you will play a vital role in supporting our clinical team, ensuring our patients receive the best care by:
\n- \n
- Produce x-ray images of specified body areas as directed by the physician or radiologist ensuring clear and undistorted films. Position and instruct patients regarding x-ray procedures. \n
- Perform x-ray procedures using portable machine as requested by Emergency Department and nursing units. \n
- Process films for radiologists reading/interpretation following established procedures. \n
- Communicate with patients, families, healthcare team members, and physicians both in-person and via telephone. \n
- Maintain x-ray and other equipment in efficient operating order; Ensures preventative maintenance is performed on a regularly scheduled basis; contacts outside service for major malfunctions according to established guidelines. \n
- Promote effective working relations and works effectively as part of a department/unit team inter- and intra-departmentally to facilitate that departments/units ability to meet its goals and objectives. \n
Required Qualifications
\n- \n
- High School Diploma or equivalent \n
- Successful completion of an approved radiological training program and the ability to meet the requirements for registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) \n
- Current license/certification in the state of practice \n
- Current BLS certification endorsed by the American Heart Association \n
Preferred Qualifications
\n- \n
- At least one (1) year of diagnostic radiology experience \n

36\nThe hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.
