Helen Porter Rehabilitation & Nursing is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Memory Care Unit on a part-time day shift schedule. Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
\n Location: Helen Porter Rehabilitation & Nursing, Middlebury, VT
\n Schedule: Part-Time, 8 Hours per Week
\n Shift: Days, 6:45 AM - 3:15 PM
\n Weekend Requirement: Rotating Weekends
\n Unit: Memory Care

What You'll Do
\n
As a nurse on our Memory Care Unit, you will:
\n
\n - Provide skilled nursing care to residents living with memory loss and cognitive impairment
\n - Assess, monitor, and document resident conditions
\n - Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders
\n - Support resident safety, comfort, and quality of life
\n - Collaborate with nursing assistants, providers, therapists, and interdisciplinary team members
\n - Communicate effectively with families and care team members
\n - Promote a calm, supportive, resident-centered environment
\n - Advocate for residents while maintaining dignity and respect in every interaction
\n

Qualifications
\n
RN Candidates
\n
\n - Current Vermont Registered Nurse (RN) license or eligibility for Vermont licensure
\n
\n
LPN Candidates
\n
\n - Current Vermont Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license or eligibility for Vermont licensure
\n
\n
Preferred Qualifications
\n
\n - Experience in memory care, long-term care, skilled nursing, assisted living, rehabilitation, geriatrics, or acute care
\n - Strong communication and interpersonal skills
\n - Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care
\n - Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
