This is a key leadership role, responsible for managing a portfolio of contracts across a diverse range of sectors including private education, consumer goods, beauty & cosmetics and IT. You'll lead a team of Contract, Site and Operations Managers, ensuring outstanding service delivery, developing talent and driving commercial performance across your region.

The Role
\n
As Regional Manager, you'll have full operational and commercial responsibility for your region, ensuring contracts are delivered safely, efficiently and profitably while maintaining exceptional customer relationships.
\n
You'll play a pivotal role in growing the business, identifying new opportunities, developing your management team and ensuring every contract consistently exceeds client expectations.

Key Responsibilities
\n
Commercial Leadership
\n
\n - Deliver or exceed regional revenue, profit and growth targets
\n - Manage regional budgets and maintain strong cost control
\n - Review contract pricing and negotiate annual increases where appropriate
\n - Identify and secure new business opportunities, including additional and non-contractual works
\n - Work closely with senior leadership to develop strategic growth plans
\n - Analyse financial performance and implement action plans to improve results
\n

Operational Excellence
\n
\n - Ensure contracts are delivered in line with agreed specifications and company standards
\n - Build strong, long-term relationships with key clients through regular engagement
\n - Monitor service quality and customer satisfaction, ensuring issues are resolved quickly
\n - Oversee contract mobilisations and ensure successful start-ups
\n - Maintain compliance across Health & Safety, HR, payroll, quality, environmental and company procedures
\n - Ensure subcontractors and suppliers meet required standards through regular audits

People Leadership

\n - Lead, coach and develop a team of Contract, Site and Operations Managers
\n - Recruit, mentor and retain high-performing managers
\n - Set clear objectives and support teams to achieve outstanding results
\n - Conduct performance reviews and personal development planning
\n - Foster a culture of accountability, engagement and continuous improvement

About You
\n
We're looking for a commercially minded leader who combines strong operational expertise with a genuine passion for developing people.
\n
You'll have:
\n
\n - Significant senior management experience within the contract cleaning sector (essential)
\n - Experience managing contracts with annual revenues exceeding £5 million
\n - A proven track record of delivering financial performance and operational excellence
\n - Exceptional leadership and people development skills
\n - Strong commercial awareness and the ability to identify growth opportunities
\n - Excellent client relationship and stakeholder management skills
\n - A proactive, solutions-focused approach with high standards and attention to detail
