\nUnqualified Lecturer: £29,294 per year, pro rata
\nQualified Lecturer: £31,885 - £40,814 per year, pro rata (Depending on Skills, Qualifications & Experience)
\n\nContract Type: Permanent, Part Time 18.5 hours per week, 52 weeks per year

\n\n• Teach and assess learners across a range of ESOL programmes and levels
\n• Deliver engaging, inclusive lessons that develop speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills
\n• Support learners from a variety of linguistic, cultural, and educational backgrounds
\n• Create a positive and welcoming learning environment that promotes confidence and progression
\n• Prepare learners for further study, employment, and everyday communication in English
\n• Maintain high standards of safeguarding, professionalism, and learner wellbeing
\n• Track learner progress and provide constructive feedback to support achievement
\n\nWhat You’ll Bring
\n\n• A relevant qualification in English, ESOL, Linguistics, Languages, Education, or a related subject (Level 3 or above)
\n• Strong knowledge of English language teaching and language acquisition principles
\n• The ability to engage and motivate learners with varying levels of English proficiency
\n• Experience working with learners or supporting others in education, training, or community settings
\n• Experience teaching ESOL or working with multilingual learners is advantageous
\n• A commitment to inclusive teaching, cultural awareness, and learner success
\n• A teaching qualification is welcomed — but if you don’t have one yet, we’ll support you to achieve it while you work
