School Caretaker

Location: Gainsborough AreaPay: £14.50 - £16.50 per dayStart Date: September 2026Tradewind Recruitment are looking for an experienced School Caretaker to support a lovely village Primary School. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who takes pride in maintaining high standards across a school site. The hours for this role are flexible, the standard hours are 7am until 2pm. Duties Include* Daily site inspections* Minor maintenance and repair work* Monitoring contractors on site* Supporting site security procedures* Ensuring classrooms and communal areas are prepared for use

Requirements

Child Only DBS is essential for the role - DBS clearance or willingness to obtain an enhanced DBS check

* Previous experience within a school, facilities or maintenance environment* Strong communication skills* Ability to respond effectively to site issues* Good understanding of safeguarding and health and safety
