Junior Quantity Surveyor

Our client is a well-established, family-run construction business based in Bromley with an excellent reputation for delivering high-quality groundworks projects. Due to continued growth, they're looking for a Junior Quantity Surveyor to join their team.

Main Duties

• Price tender inquiries, involving on-site visits, conducting condition surveys, capturing photographs, and measuring works as needed.
\n
• Generate monthly valuations and accounts, ensuring timely receipt of all variation records.
\n
• Verify that subcontractor rates for executed works encompass all necessary safety provisions.
\n
• Provide clients with estimates for additional works as requested.
\n
• Upon project completion, aid in the compilation of contract performance assessment sheets.
\n
• Ensuring precise documentation of costs and values related to projects.
\n
• Possessing a solid grasp of work measurement principles.
\n
• Efficiently managing and recording project costs to maintain financial control.
\n

Essential Qualification & Skills

\n
• Excellent communication skills and solid English skills
\n
• A form of Construction Experience with a qualification such as HNC or HND in Quantity Surveying being desirable
\n
• Confidence in establishing and nurturing relationships with clients and colleagues.
\n
• Full, valid driving licence.
\n
• Must live within a commutable distance of Bromley
\n
• Confident an approachable and able to have banter!
