Performance Test Engineer

Performance Test Engineer - Outside IR35 - 6 month initial contract - London/hybrid - up to £525 per day

We're looking for an experienced Performance Test Engineer to lead and deliver end-to-end performance testing for a modern web platform built on a microservices architecture.

Key responsibilities:

• Define and implement the performance testing strategy.
\n
• Design and execute load, stress, endurance, and capacity tests.
\n
• Develop and maintain test scripts using JMeter or similar tools.
\n
• Identify and analyse performance bottlenecks across applications and services.
\n
• Work closely with Development, QA, and DevOps teams to resolve issues and improve scalability.
\n
• Produce clear performance reports and recommendations for stakeholders.
\n

Required experience:

\n
• Proven performance testing experience in web-based environments.
\n
• Strong knowledge of performance testing frameworks and methodologies.
\n
• Experience with microservices and API-driven applications.
\n
• Hands-on expertise with JMeter, LoadRunner, Gatling, NeoLoad, or k6.
\n
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and stakeholder communication skills.
\n
