Location: London

Remuneration: £40,000 - £60,000neg (DOE) + discretionary bonus

The role of the Estimator - Stone Restoration will involve:

\n
• Estimator position dealing with various restoration projects such as: façade cleaning, stonework, statue protection, surveys, terracotta & faience, brickwork, stucco & rendering, carving & hard landscaping
\n
• Reviewing tender documentation
\n
• Read, understand and take off measurements and details from drawings
\n
• Liaising with clients to gain an understanding of new project requirements
\n
• Price up labour, plant and materials
\n
• Prepare and send out subcontractor and supplier enquiries
\n
• Attend pre contract meetings on site with clients, surveyors and architects
\n

\n
• Take accurate site measurements and details from site visits to allow for accurate pricing of materials
\n
• Working on projects varying in value from £10k up to £10m
\n

The ideal applicant will be an Estimator - Stone Restoration with:

\n
• Must have extensive experience as an Estimator
\n
• Must have within the restoration, facades, stonework, render, masonry or related
\n
• Must have excellent communication skills across all levels both written and verbal
\n
• Good IT skills (Microsoft Office)
\n
• Self-motivated individual
\n
• High levels of organisation and attention to detail
\n
• Must hold CSCS card
\n
• Full UK driving license
\n
