Sales Manager

Location: Poole

Salary: £51,500 basic with realistic OTE of £70,000 plus excellent benefits.

I'm currently recruiting for an experienced Sales Manager to join a leading UK furniture retailer at their Poole showroom.

This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially driven retail leader who has a proven track record of managing successful sales teams within the furniture retail sector. As Sales Manager, you'll be responsible for leading a high-performing showroom team, driving sales and profitability, and ensuring an outstanding customer experience. You'll play a key role in coaching and developing your team while overseeing the day-to-day operation of the store.

• Lead, motivate and develop a successful sales team.

• Drive sales, margin and KPI performance across the showroom.

• Deliver an exceptional customer journey from initial enquiry through to purchase.

• Coach, mentor and develop team members to maximise performance.

• Manage rotas, daily operations, stock processes and store administration.
\n
• Ensure compliance with company procedures and health & safety standards.
\n
• Identify opportunities to improve commercial performance and customer satisfaction.

• £51,500 basic salary.

To be considered for this opportunity, you must have previous furniture retail sales experience along with experience managing and developing a sales team.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Proven furniture retail sales experience (essential).
\n
• Experience in a Sales Manager, Assistant Manager or Store Manager role within furniture retail.
\n
• A strong track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets and KPIs.
\n
• Excellent leadership, coaching and people development skills.
\n
• Commercial awareness with the ability to drive store performance.
\n
• Outstanding communication and customer service skills.
\n
• A hands-on approach with a passion for leading from the front.
\n
