An exciting opportunity has arisen for a CNC Setter/Operator to join a successful manufacturing company. This permanent role offers the chance to work within a dynamic team, setting and operating CNC machines, primarily lathes, in a fast-paced environment.

Day-to-day of the role:

\n
• Setting and operating two different CNC machines, focusing mainly on lathes.
\n
• Inspecting own work to ensure it meets the required quality standards.
\n
• Reading and interpreting technical drawings.
\n
• Performing additional tasks such as de-burring, linishing, wire brushing, manual turning/milling, and goods-in receiving which involves heavy lifting.
\n

Required Skills & Qualifications:

\n
• Experience in setting and operating CNC machines.
\n
• TIG welding skills are advantageous but not essential as full training will be provided.
\n
• Strong attention to detail and reliability.
\n
• Keen interest in engineering and a willingness to learn new skills.
\n
• Ability to work effectively as part of a small manufacturing team.
\n
• Commitment to maintaining a clean and organised workspace and communal areas.
\n

Work Hours:
