Journeyman Electrician - Sign Maintenance & Repair

• Compensation: $45.00 per hour, paid weekly

• Job Site Location: Dallas, TX

• Work Schedule: MondayFriday, 7:00 a.m.4:00 p.m.; overtime and occasional overnight travel may be required

• Job Type: Temporary, with potential for permanent placement

• Maintain, diagnose, and repair electrical signs and related components.

• Safely operate tools, lifts, equipment, and testing devices according to company safety procedures.

• Inspect completed work to confirm proper operation, quality, and code compliance.

• Work safely around operating equipment and within confined spaces when required.

• Maintain a professional appearance and communicate respectfully with customers and team members.

• Help manage the preventive maintenance program and maintain accurate service records.

• Train, guide, and oversee electrical apprentices as assigned.

• Travel out of town or stay overnight occasionally based on project needs.

• Valid Texas Journeyman Electrician license or other legally required journeyman credential for the work performed

• Valid drivers license and driving record that meets company requirements

• Knowledge of electrical troubleshooting, repair procedures, and applicable electrical codes

• Ability to lift and carry up to 75 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation

• Ability to communicate clearly in writing and conversation

• Ability to work around operating equipment and in confined spaces

• Ability to adapt to changing job sites and working conditions

• Willingness to work overtime and travel overnight when required

• Previous Journeyman Electrician experience

• Experience maintaining or repairing commercial electrical signs

• Experience supervising or mentoring electrical apprentices

• Familiarity with preventive maintenance programs and service documentation
