Position Details

• Position: School-Based Physical Therapist (PT)
• Schedule: Full-Time
• School Year: 2026–2027
• Setting: On-site, Multiple School Sites
• Caseload: Discussed during the interview based on experience and district needs

Responsibilities

• Evaluate students and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide direct physical therapy services in accordance with IEP goals.
• Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, administrators, and families.
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student progress reporting.
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Recommend adaptive equipment and strategies to support student success in the educational setting.

Qualifications

• Active California Physical Therapist license.
• Previous pediatric or school-based experience preferred, but not required.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
• Passion for helping students achieve greater independence and success.
