Hospitalist Opportunity with MercyOne - $280K Guarantee + $50K Commence

Hospitalist Position Overview

• 168 shifts annually
• Shift timings include 7 AM - 7 PM, 7 PM - 7 AM, and 9 AM - 9 PM
• Primarily a 7 days on / 7 days off schedule
• Hospitalist services are offered at both the Waterloo and Cedar Falls locations
• Open ICU with coverage provided by Intensivists
• Willingness to perform procedures is appreciated but not required

Compensation and Benefits

• Guaranteed salary of $280,000
• Signing bonus of $50,000
• Relocation assistance of $15,000
• Malpractice insurance and tail coverage fully covered by the employer
• Comprehensive health, dental, vision, and life insurance with shared premiums
• Two retirement plans: a 403(b) with employer matching and a 457(b) Savings Plan
• Employer-funded Short Term Disability, with an option to purchase Long Term Disability at a low cost
• Annual CME allowance of $6,000
• Non-profit status qualifies for Public Service Loan Forgiveness
