Production Operator – Semiconductor Manufacturing
Location: Southeast Austin, TX 78741

Pay:

$18.00/hr day shift

$20.70/hr night shift

We are hiring Production Operators to support a semiconductor manufacturing facility in Southeast Austin. This is a great opportunity for reliable, detail-oriented candidates who are comfortable working in a cleanroom environment, following procedures, and supporting production in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

Schedule Options:

A Shift – Days
Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, every other Wednesday
7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Pay: $18.00/hr

B Shift – Nights
Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, every other Saturday
7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Pay: $20.70/hr

C Shift – Days
Thursday, Friday, Saturday, every other Wednesday
7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Pay: $18.00/hr

D Shift – Nights
Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, every other Saturday
7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Pay: $20.70/hr

Hours:

• Compressed 12-hour shift schedule
• Short week: 3 days / 35.25 total hours
• Long week: 4 days / 47 total hours, including overtime
• Overtime paid at time and a half
• Additional overtime may be available after training

Job Responsibilities:

• Work in a fast-paced semiconductor manufacturing environment while maintaining strong attention to detail and quality
• Set up, operate, and coordinate workstation activities in a wafer manufacturing or test area
• Perform repetitive machine operations including loading, unloading, and pushing materials or equipment as needed
• Monitor manufacturing processes and equipment to support quality production output
• Follow cleanroom procedures, safety guidelines, and production standards
• Work with team members to solve problems and support daily manufacturing goals
• Participate in continuous improvement efforts within the production team
• Assist with training other employees as needed

Requirements:

• Must be 18 years or older
• Must have a high school diploma or GED
• Must be able to complete a background check, drug test, and physical
• Must be comfortable working in a cleanroom environment
• Must be able to wear a full cleanroom suit from head to toe
• Must be able to lift 5–8 lbs repeatedly
• Must be able to work a compressed schedule alternating between 3 and 4 consecutive 12-hour shifts each week
• Must be dependable, punctual, and able to follow detailed instructions
