Our organization is on the lookout for a board-certified or board-eligible Pulmonary/Critical Care physician to join our team in Altoona, PA. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering comprehensive care to patients with a variety of pulmonary conditions, while also working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to provide advanced critical care during ICU rotations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage in a full-time pulmonary practice that includes ICU rotations
  • Utilize a cutting-edge bronchoscopy suite, offering routine bronchoscopy, robotic bronchoscopy, and EBUS
  • Perform CT-guided lung biopsies and ultrasound-guided thoracentesis in collaboration with a supportive Interventional Radiology team
  • Receive assistance from Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) in both the pulmonary clinic and ICU
  • Commit to delivering high-quality, compassionate care to patients
  • Benefit from 24/7 in-house intensivist and APP coverage, reducing after-hours duties for pulmonologists
