Our organization is in search of a Physician to take on the role of Site Medical Director for our Central PA facility located in Hanover.

The preferred candidate will have between 3 to 5 years of experience as a Hospitalist and demonstrate exceptional leadership abilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee quality metrics and outcomes for the program.
  • Engage with referring physicians and address their concerns effectively.
  • Assess and provide feedback to practicing hospitalists on both clinical and administrative performance.
  • Ensure that the patients of hospitalists meet the quality and satisfaction standards set by regulatory bodies and payor organizations.
  • Act as a bridge between the hospitalist program and various clinical departments.
  • Guarantee timely communication with patients, allowing them to have their questions addressed.
  • Collaborate with other sectors of the health system to achieve overarching goals related to the hospitalist program.
  • Partner with nursing and other clinical team members to develop and implement care protocols for optimal patient care.
  • Focus on the recruitment and retention of physicians to serve as hospitalists.
