Thoracic and Cardiothoracic Radiologists

Department of Radiology

Position: Assistant/Associate/Professor, Non-Tenure (Full-Time)

Our organization is seeking full-time, on-site Radiologists to join the Cardiothoracic Imaging Division. This division specializes in interpreting chest X-rays, thoracic CT and MRI scans, as well as cardiovascular MRI and CT, encompassing a wide range of pathologies. The division operates primarily at a Level I Regional Resource Trauma Center, recognized as a leading referral hub for various medical specialties, including organ transplantation, cardiology, cardiothoracic surgery, neurosurgery, and critical care. Faculty members also have responsibilities at another affiliated hospital.

Essential Qualifications

  • Applicants must possess an MD or equivalent degree.
  • Candidates should be board-eligible or board-certified by the American Board of Radiology.
  • Eligibility for unrestricted medical licensure in Pennsylvania is required.
  • Subspecialty fellowship training and experience in Thoracic and Cardiac Imaging are essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • This role encompasses a blend of clinical, administrative, research, and educational duties.
  • Experience in research and a history of securing funding are highly desirable.
