Job Description
Join Our Team as an OB/GYN in Oregon City

Focus on Surgery. Emphasize Teamwork. Located just outside Portland.

Enhance your skills and amplify your voice while practicing comprehensive OB/GYN in a supportive environment. At our organization, we prioritize our patients, serving over 50,000 individuals annually across 12 clinics and six hospitals in the Portland metropolitan area. As the largest independent women's health group in Oregon, we are entirely clinician-owned.

Our diverse teams consist of OB/GYN physicians, certified nurse-midwives, nurse practitioners, behavioral health specialists, maternal-fetal medicine experts, urogynecologists, and robust operational support, allowing you to concentrate on what truly matters: delivering exceptional clinical care.

Your Role

We are seeking a board-certified or board-eligible OB/GYN to join our Oregon City office, recognized for its surgical expertise, collaborative atmosphere, and dedication to providing meaningful, accessible healthcare.

Why Choose Oregon City?
  • Oregon City combines the charm of a small town with easy access to Portland's amenities, including vibrant neighborhoods, excellent schools, and abundant outdoor activities.
  • Many of our clinicians reside in Oregon City, Lake Oswego, or West Linn, enjoying a harmonious blend of community and convenience.
  • Our hospital, Providence Willamette Falls Medical Center, is investing in the latest da Vinci V robotic platform, enhancing our ability to offer minimally invasive options and expanding patient care choices locally.
What You Can Expect
  • A supportive team of seven OB/GYNs and seven CNMs who genuinely enjoy collaborating and providing mutual support.
  • A cooperative model where midwives handle most low- and moderate-risk OB care, allowing physicians to enhance their surgical skills while maintaining a full-scope practice.
  • The only group offering gynecologic surgery at our community hospital.
  • A diverse patient population that is often medically complex, including rural patients, incarcerated individuals, and home birth transfers, ensuring your work has a significant impact.
Your Practice Environment
  • Balanced Call Structure: Our CNM partners help create a call model that allows physicians to focus on GYN and surgical growth while ensuring meaningful OB experience.
  • Surgery-Forward Growth: With a strong gynecology volume and partners focused on minimally invasive surgery, you will build surgical confidence early on. Dedicated surgical block time and OR mentorship ensure you will operate and develop your skills.
  • Robotic Expansion: Our upcoming da Vinci V platform will support ongoing growth in minimally invasive GYN surgery.
  • Leadership That Listens: Physicians in Oregon City actively participate in shaping organizational decisions, from advanced surgical technologies to in-office procedures. Your input is valued here.
What We Offer
  • A flexible 4-day work week with various FTE options.
  • Competitive compensation in a private practice setting, with eligibility for ownership after three years.
  • Comprehensive benefits including CME, malpractice coverage, parental leave, and a generous 401(k) contribution.
  • Dedicated surgical block time.
  • The freedom to design a workweek that aligns with your strengths and interests.
A Supportive Start for Early Career Success

We understand that transitioning from residency or to a new practice can be challenging. In Oregon City, you will not be alone in this journey.

  • A dedicated physician mentor will guide you during your first year.
  • Partnership in OR and high-risk OB cases as you gain independence.
  • Access to real-time consultations from experienced colleagues.
  • Optional journal clubs and peer gatherings for networking and shared learning.

Here, you will thrive with support, confidence, and colleagues who are invested in your success.

Qualifications
  • MD or DO from an accredited institution.
  • Completion of an ACGME OB/GYN residency (or expected before starting).
  • Board certified or board eligible in OB/GYN.
  • Eligibility for licensure in Oregon.
  • Eligibility for DEA and hospital privileges.
  • Insurability for malpractice coverage.

Oregon City is a place where physicians can enhance their skills, gain autonomy, and become leaders within a supportive, clinician-owned organization. If you seek a practice that fosters meaningful growth and offers genuine team support, we would love to hear from you.
