Job Description
Incentive Amount: Up to $20,000 for Registered Nurses with two or more consecutive years of RN experience. New Graduate Registered Nurses may receive up to $10,000. Sign-On Bonus is available for eligible candidates, with specific eligibility and payout conditions discussed during the interview.
Compensation OverviewHourly Rate: $37.00–$51.28
Employment Type: Full-time, 12-hour shifts, scheduled as 3 x 12.

Utilize your clinical skills in a dynamic Emergency Department where critical thinking, independence, and teamwork are essential every shift. Provide care for a variety of patient demographics, handle high-acuity cases, and enhance your expertise alongside a skilled multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Department (ED)
- Conduct rapid assessments, triage, and prioritize care
- Respond to acute changes, trauma, and life-threatening situations
- Interpret laboratory results, diagnostics, and patient symptoms
- Communicate patient conditions with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
- Administer medications, IV therapy, and emergency interventions
- Educate patients and families regarding care and discharge instructions
- Ensure adherence to EMTALA, HIPAA, and patient safety regulations
- Report any suspected abuse or neglect in accordance with regulations
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation
Education, Experience, and Training Requirements:
- Valid and current state RN License
- Current BLS certification upon hire and maintain
- ACLS certification required within 30 days of hire and maintain
- PALS certification and/or ENPC required within 30 days of hire and maintain
- Basic Arrhythmia Interpretation certification within 30 days of hire
- At least one year of experience as a staff nurse RN in an acute care hospital; emergency room experience preferred
- Certification as an Emergency Nurse (CEN) is preferred
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is preferred
- For Paramedic Base Station ED: MICN certification within 12 months of hire and maintain
- For EDAP certified facilities: Completion of emergency pediatric courses 1 and 2 within 6 months of hire
- For non-OB facilities: NRP certification within 90 days of hire and maintain
- Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC) required within 12 months of hire
Our organization offers competitive pay, with a reasonable estimate for this role ranging from $37.00 to $51.28 per hour. The exact starting salary will be determined at the time of hiring, taking into account various factors such as skills, relevant experience, education, credentials, and licensure.
