FULL-TIME OB/GYN OPPORTUNITY CATHOLIC HEALTH OF LONG ISLAND

We are excited to announce an opening for a Board Certified/Board Eligible OB/GYN to join our expanding Women's Health Service Line. This role will be located in East Islip, with delivery services at Good Samaritan University Hospital in West Islip. Our organization is a comprehensive health care system dedicated to serving the communities of Long Island, New York, encompassing six hospitals, three skilled nursing facilities, a regional Home Care and Hospice service, and a community-based agency for individuals with developmental disabilities. In recent years, we have made significant investments in our Women's Health Service Line, aiming to create an integrated program that includes specialties such as OB/GYN, gynecologic oncology, maternal-fetal medicine, urogynecology, and minimally invasive gynecologic surgery. Our OB/GYN team supports approximately 4,700 deliveries each year.

• Provide comprehensive care for patients with gynecologic concerns, including outpatient assessments, inpatient care, and major surgical procedures.
• Engage in Graduate Medical Education (GME) activities for fellows, residents, and medical students, which may include lectures, preceptorships, and small group teaching. A strong commitment to academic medicine and education is essential.
• Participate in after-hours and weekend on-call coverage.
• Contribute to clinical trials and quality initiatives based on performance data.
• Deliver all services in line with accepted standards of care and uphold the ethical principles of the medical profession.

• Must hold a valid NYS MD or DO license.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible.
• Demonstrated strong clinical background in evaluation and management.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively at all organizational levels to foster a culture of patient safety and participate in performance improvement initiatives.

The salary range for this position is between $312,271 and $465,235. This estimate reflects a good faith effort and actual compensation will depend on various factors, including education, training, skills, licensure, certification, competencies, and relevant experience. Please note that this range does not include bonuses, incentive pay, or other forms of compensation that may apply, nor does it account for the value of benefits.
