Indirect Tax Manager

\n A growing international business is looking to appoint an experienced Indirect Tax Manager. This is an exciting opportunity to join a business where indirect tax plays a key role in supporting strategic decision-making and operational excellence.
Your new role

\n
• Ownership of UK and European VAT compliance
\n
• Review and submission of VAT returns across multiple jurisdictions
\n
• Act as the key VAT advisor to finance and operational teams
\n
• Support cross-border transactions and movement of goods across Europe
\n
• Manage relationships with external advisers and tax authorities
\n
• Lead VAT audits and resolve technical VAT queries
\n
• Identify and implement process, systems and control improvements
\n

What you'll need to succeed
\n To be successful in this role, you will be a qualified tax or accounting professional (CTA, ACA or equivalent) with strong indirect tax experience gained within industry or practice.
\n You will possess:

\n
• Strong UK VAT knowledge, with European VAT experience highly desirable
\n
• Experience dealing with cross-border transactions
\n
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
\n
• Experience managing VAT audits and working with external advisers
\n
• Strong analytical skills and confidence working with financial systems and large data sets
\n
