\n \n3 Main is divided into three wings, West, South, and East, that deliver comprehensive medical, surgical, and telemetry care to adult and geriatric patients with a broad range of acute and chronic conditions. Care includes the management of heart failure, COPD, infections, gastrointestinal disorders, and other complex health issues, along with specialized services in cardiac/post-catheterization, renal, respiratory, vascular, diabetes, wound, and ostomy care. Two of the wings feature private rooms and blends elements of both complex care and medical-surgical environments, enabling them to meet diverse patient needs while maintaining a strong commitment to high-quality, patient-centered care.
\n \nAs a Registered Nurse on this team, you will work collaboratively with the healthcare team while engaging patients, families, and visitors to provide education, support, and compassionate, empathetic care aimed at improving outcomes and enhancing the patient experience. This role also offers the opportunity to float across all three units, providing valuable knowledge and hands-on experience with a diverse patient population.

A caregiver in this position works days from 7:00 a.m. – 7:30 p.m. with every other weekend and holiday rotation requirements.
\n \nA caregiver who excels in this role will:

Provide direct nursing care.
\n

Implement and monitor patient care plans.
\n
- \n
- \n
Monitor, record and communicate patients’ conditions.
\n - \n
Evaluate, update and revise plan of care to facilitate achievement of planned and expected outcomes
\n

- \n
Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
\n
- \n
- \n
Assess and coordinate patients’ discharge needs.
\n - \n
Educate patients and family with educational materials considering cultural issues and other special concerns
\n - \n
Administer prescribed medications and treatment in accordance with approved nursing protocol
\n
Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:

- \n
Graduate from an accredited School of Professional Nursing
\n
- \n
- \n
Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
\n
- \n
- \n
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) Or American Red Cross
\n - \n
One year of current acute care RN experience OR military RN experience
\n
Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:

Bachelor of science in nursing (BSN)
\n
Physical Requirements:

Requires full range of body motion including handling and lifting patient, manual and finger dexterity, and eye-hand coordination.

Requires standing and walking for extended periods of time.
\n - \n
Requires corrected vision and hearing to normal range.
\n - \n
Requires working under stressful conditions and irregular hours.
\n - \n
Exposure to communicable diseases and/or body fluids.
\n - \n
Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
\n - \n
Physical Demand requirements are in excess of those for Light Work.
\n

Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.

Pay Range
\n \nMinimum hourly: $35.50
\n \nMaximum hourly: $55.60
\nThe pay range displayed on this job posting reflects the anticipated range for new hires. A successful candidate’s actual compensation will be determined after taking factors into consideration such as the candidate’s work history, experience, skill set and education. The pay range displayed does not include any applicable pay practices (e.g., shift differentials, overtime, etc.).
