Family Medicine - Physician - Cohoes, NY

Our organization is on the lookout for a full-time Family Medicine physician to become part of our team at Cohoes Family Care, situated in Cohoes, New York.

This role presents an exciting chance to integrate into an established outpatient practice that is experiencing high patient demand, supported by a hospital affiliation. Cohoes Family Care provides a comprehensive array of healthcare services for families, which includes:

• Routine pediatric assessments (well-baby and well-child checkups, school, camp, and sports physicals)
• Adolescent medicine
• General adult and geriatric healthcare (including annual physicals for health maintenance, work, school, or insurance)
• Management of illnesses, injuries, and chronic medical conditions
• Preventive immunizations and precautionary vaccinations
• Cancer screening and promotion of healthy lifestyle choices

The call rotation is set at 1:4 weeks, with phone consultations only.

To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Board Certification along with New York State licensure and DEA registration is mandatory
• A minimum of two years of relevant experience is preferred, though not essential

COMPENSATION PACKAGE

Our organization offers a comprehensive salary and benefits package that includes:

• Competitive salary with performance incentives
  • Base salary range: $250K-$260K
  • The stated salary represents the initial range of total compensation and does not encompass productivity bonuses, quality and performance incentives, extra shift bonuses, and other applicable cash compensations. Additionally, providers generally receive a CME allowance and other benefits from their medical group employer. Please note that this salary range is provided in compliance with state regulations and may vary based on the aforementioned factors.
  • Bonus potential of up to $75K
  • $25K retention bonus after Year 2
  • Resident compensation available - up to $50K per year for early sign-on
