- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or Veterinariae Medicinae Doctoris (VMD) degree from an AVMA-accredited college of veterinary medicine (or equivalent certification for international graduates) \n
- Active New Mexico veterinary license in good standing, or ability to obtain licensure prior to start date \n
- Successful completion of the North American Veterinary Licensing Examination (NAVLE) \n
- Minimum 5+ years of clinical experience in small animal medicine, surgery, and preventive care \n
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills \n
- Commitment to practicing high-quality, evidence-based veterinary medicine \n
- Ability to mentor and develop veterinarians and support staff \n
- Excellent diagnostic, medical, and surgical skills \n
- Passion for team development, hospital growth, and patient care excellence \n

- Previous experience as a Veterinary Medical Director, Chief of Staff, Lead Veterinarian, or Medical Lead \n
- Experience managing medical quality standards and clinical protocols \n

- Proficiency with advanced diagnostics, digital radiography, dental radiography, and ultrasound \n
