Solution Architect

Rate: £650 - £750 per day Inside IR35 (Total rate to umbrella) Duration: 6 months initial Location: London or Birmingham - 2 days per week on site

We're looking for an experienced Solution Architect to join a complex enterprise environment.

This role would suit someone who enjoys working across multiple workstreams and technologies. You'll be responsible for shaping solution designs, engaging with stakeholders across the business and ensuring technology solutions are aligned with both immediate delivery goals and longer term strategy.

You'll need to be comfortable operating in a broad architecture role, partnering with business leaders, delivery teams, engineers and third party suppliers to drive successful outcomes.

• Defining end to end solution architectures across a range of projects and programmes.

• Working with business and technical stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into practical solutions.

• Producing architecture documentation, design artefacts and technical roadmaps.
\n
• Supporting delivery teams throughout the project lifecycle.
\n
• Ensuring solutions align with architectural standards, security requirements and governance processes.
\n
• Reviewing existing systems and identifying opportunities for improvement and simplification.
\n
• Providing architectural guidance and assurance across multiple initiatives.

• Proven experience working as a Solution Architect within large and complex organisations.
\n
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
\n
• Experience delivering solutions across applications, integration and data environments.
\n
• The ability to balance business priorities with technical considerations.
\n
• Strong understanding of architecture frameworks, design principles and governance.
\n
• Experience supporting large scale change and transformation programmes.
\n
• A pragmatic approach with the confidence to challenge and influence where required.
