Supply Chain Coordinator

CSS are currently recruiting for Supply Chain Coordinator for one of our clients based in Colchester, Essex for a temporary to permanent basis. Hours of the role will be 7AM till 4:30PM 4 days on 4 days off which will include weekends. We are looking for candidates with previous candidates with experience in a fast paced and smooth execution of outbound supply chain activities. These activities will include coordinating deliveries, liaising with transport and haulage and other roles to comply to. Duties include; * Coordinating outbound deliveries daily to customers * Manage and hire/dehire supply chain equipment * Working with suppliers to minimise losses and control costs * Acting as key interface between logistical teams * Liaising with other teams to ensure when improvements can be made * Following all H&S procedures Starting date - Immediate Temp to Perm after 12 weeks. Requirements: * Previous experience supply chain, logistics or customer service roles * Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple duties * Own transport preferred due to location and shift times. Public transport not available * Experience in FMCG, fresh produce and food manufacturing desirable * Familiar experience in with outbound logistics and transport coordination Benefits With Working With This Client: * The role will offer development and progression to be part of a supply chain team.
